What is the Apple Magic keyboard?

Apple unveiled it’s Magic Keyboard for the iPad in early 2020. The keyboard resembled the older Smart Keyboard for the iPad. The best feature of the Apple Magic Keyboard that makes it stand out is the built-in trackpad for easier navigation.

The Apple Magic keyboard has been used as the default keyboard for Mac but it also makes it possible to use the iPad as a laptop.

Here are the key features of the Apple Magic keyboard:

  • Floating keyboard design for improved functionality
  • Backlit keys
  • Integrated trackpad
  • Scissor-switch keys for snappy feel and quick response while typing for Mac-like typing experience
  • Auto-adjusted brightness based on the ambient light

The Apple Magic keyboard comes in two sizes:

  • 11-inch model is compatible with iPad Pro 11-inch (1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation) and the iPad Air (4th generation)
  • 12.9-inch model is compatible with the iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd, 4th, or 5th generation)

You can buy the Apple Magic keyboard in either size below.

Hand-Tracked Gestures

With the V37 update, you can now use hand-tracked gestures to quickly navigate to the common settings in the Quick Action Menu.

Explore Quest

Finally, you will now see an updated Explore page that opens up when you power on the headset. Here, you can discover what’s possible and what’s happening in virtual reality.

It will show you recommendations for new games, apps, media, and also track your friends’ status. Also, you will be able to share anything saved on your phone to your Quest using the Share Link feature.
