U11 vs U10 Mods

Updates #11 and #10 for Nomad are based on the version updates for the original Blade and Sorcery PCVR game.

U10 is also known as the “Dungeon Update”. It adds procedurally generated rooms into the game, a big feature that makes B&S less like an open sandbox and more structured. You earn coins and other perks for completing dungeon missions, which will eventually be used in other ways within the game.

U11 is known as the “Home Update”. It is a big update with a number of improvements:

  • Improved animations across the entire game
  • Expanded magic capabilities for new and unique spells
  • Better stealth kills and fighting mechanics
  • Improved character clothing and armor customization

Because of all the changes associated with these updated in the back-end, mods for U11 are not compatible with mods from U10 and vice versa.

For this reason, we’ve split up our guide below. The first “Best Blade and Sorcery: Nomad Mods” section is for the latest U11 version only.

The second section shows you the best U10 mods that have not been updated to U11 yet.

Let’s take a look at each in more detail!

Star Wars Lightsabers

star wars lightsabers mod

Star Wars Lightsabers, much like the Outer Rim for Blade and Sorcery, let you take down your enemies with Star Wars-themed lightsaber swords.

Lightsabers offer high dismemberment possibilities. With the glowing colorful beams, stabbing your enemies has never been so enjoyable.

These lightsabers offer these abilities:

  • Idle sounds
  • Stabbing sounds
  • Powerful attacks
  • Decals and blood splatter
  • Easier dismemberment

The author has created three lightsabers of different colors:

  • Vader (Red)
  • Skywalker (Green)
  • Obi-Wan (Blue)

The lightsabers are best suited for 1-on-1 to 1-on-5 battles.

How to Install the Star Wars Lightsabers Mod on Blade and Sorcery: Nomad

To install the Star Wars Lightsabers mod on Blade and Sorcery: Nomad, go to PC\Quest 2\Internal shared storage\Android\data\com.Warpfrog.BladeAndSorcery\files\Mods in your Quest file explorer folder and drop this mod folder into there.

Ninja Weapons Pack

ninja weapons mod for blade and sorcery nomad

The Ninja Weapons Pack is an awesome Blade and Sorcery: Nomad mod that enhances your combat. Ninja weapons fit this style of game really well, since they are mostly melee and rely on your own personal effort.

15 weapons are included in this pack, including different swords, katanas, and staffs. A few of the more unique ones I like using are the throwing knife and the shuriken.

Ninjas Weapons works great on the latest U11 update to Nomad. It has enough weapons to try out some different things, but without flooding your game with hundreds of different options.

Medieval Megapack

medieval weapons mod blade and sorcery nomad

Medieval Megapack is a constantly growing mod filled with new weapons to add to the Nomad game. If you want to add new weapons without installing a ton of individual mods, this one might be the only thing you need.Over 300 weapons have been created for Nomad, each mimicking its real life counterpart as much as possible. The damage and characteristics of each weapon has been customized so that it is as accurate as possible. The kinds of weapons in this pack are endless, including:

  • Arrows
  • Axes
  • Swords
  • Spikes
  • One-handed and two-handed

This mod also adds a custom menu into the game so that searching through over 300 weapons is as easy as possible. Try it out forv yourself today.

Spiderman Mod

spiderman mod for blade and sorcery nomad

The Spiderman mod for Blade and Sorcery: Nomad allows you to shoot webs out of the palms of your hands AND swing on them across your map. It’s a unique and fun twist to a game that traditionally only features medieval themed objects and characters.

Once you load the mod, it shows up as a spell within the game. You throw out your palm in the direction you want to spray, just like Spiderman does in the movies. If you grab on to your web right after you sling it, you will be able to swing across the map.

I found that getting the timing down for consistent swings took a little bit of effort. However, it is a ton of fun once you get the hang of it!

To install Spiderman on Blade and Sorcery: Nomad, download the mod from the link above and drop the mod folder into PC\Quest 2\Internal shared storage\Android\data\com.Warpfrog.BladeAndSorcery\files\Mods on your Quest headset.

Time Stop Mod

The Time Stop mod allows you to slow down time with the press of a button. Once you activate it, you can move around Blade and Sorcery: Nomad in slow motion. Use this to your advantage and slice up computer characters with pinpoint accuracy and creativity.

The only thing I don’t like about this mod is that you can’t move around while the spell is activate. So, you need to activate it at the right time in order for it to work properly.

Note that you can’t use this Time Stop mod with the Fast Weapon Handling mod, so you’ll need to choice one or the other. However if it is your thing, click here to try out this mod today.

To install Time Stop on Blade and Sorcery: Nomad, download the mod from the link above and drop the mod folder into PC\Quest 2\Internal shared storage\Android\data\com.Warpfrog.BladeAndSorcery\files\Mods on your Quest headset.

Modern Melee Pack

modern melee mod for blade and sorcery nomad

The Modern Melee pack adds over 100 different weapon mods to your Nomad game. Each weapon has custom damage and characteristics added so that they feel as realistic as possible. You can use these in any game mode – my favorite is during Survival!

Some of the different types of weapons you’ll find here include:

  • Shields
  • Axes
  • Shovels
  • Brass Knuckles
  • Crowbar
  • Ice Pick
  • Machete
  • Wrenches and other tools

Overall, this Nomad mod is very similar to the Medieval Megapack, but with a more modern twist. For that reason, I actually prefer it more even though it doesn’t match the game’s aesthetics as well.

Better Bleeding

better blood mod for blade and sorcery nomad

Blade and Sorcery: Nomad has never had realistic blood that looks as good as the PC version of the game. The Better Bleeding mod does a good job in making things as close as possible.

Once you install the mod, all NPC characters will have more realistic blood spatter and reactions. Try out different attacks and weapons and you will see better reactions.

Better Bleeding is updated for U11, which is awesome. It’s a simple fix that makes the game look a lot better.

Dismemberment

dismemberment mod

Created and uploaded by Piepop101, the purpose of this mod is like that of Butter Stabs—effortless dismemberment! With the Dismemberment mod, you can pierce through people with any weapon and with minimum effort.

You can install either Butter Stabs or Dismemberment for cutting off or cutting up, as smooth as a baby’s bottom. And, of course, the former has the added advantage of piercing through anything.

Butter Stabs is not currently updated to U10, so Dismemberment is the perfect alternative.

To install the Dismemberment mod on Blade and Sorcery: Nomad, go to PC\Quest 2\Internal shared storage\Android\data\com.Warpfrog.BladeAndSorcery\files\Mods.

Telekinesis

telekinesis mod

The Telekinesis mod makes your dreams come true. As children, we used to wonder if we could lift and throw things without actually touching them. In VR, this mod makes it possible to throw stuff here and there to your heart’s content.

You can grab people, shoot them, and lift heavy rocks and smash them onto people’s heads. You can have a blast launching people into far-off places.

Things in Blade and Sorcery: Nomad can be really heavy. Mods like Telekinesis let you pick up heavy objects with ease in the gravity mode and, by using hand gestures, move them around at will.

The Telekinesis mod was also created and uploaded by Piepop101.

Fast Weapon Handling

fast weapon handling mod

Fast Weapon Handling mod comes in handy when using heavy weapons in combat. Weapon handling, especially in slow-motion, can get tough. This mod addresses the issues and lets you swing your weapons with ease, even in slow-mo.

With this mod installed on your Blade and Sorcery: Nomad, you will find yourself insta killing or flinging your enemies off the map.

The mod was uploaded to Nexus Mods by Piepop101.

More Blood

more blood mod

The name says it all. More Blood mod is one for the truly bloodthirsty among us. If you want a little more bloodshed and love to watch blood ooze from your victims’ bodies, give this mod a shot.

With the combined use of Tactical Weapon Pack and More Blood, you are in for thrill-packed carnage. Blood squirting from cuts, large pools of blood—these are the key features of the mod.

You may not find a pool of blood forming as you stab people just yet, but you can expect it in the updates soon. Also, if you want to see the gushing effect from limbs being dismembered, etc., turn off the extra blood effects that come with the base game.

The mod was uploaded to Nexus Mods by Piepop101.

Drag’s Colosseum

drags colosseum mod

With Drag’s Colosseum mod, you can fight waves and waves of enemies in the Colosseum-themed arena, complete with a screaming crowd. And as usual, you can find the arena on the map.

Interestingly, this is one of the first Colosseum-based maps on Quest 2 across all games. So far, Nomad players like the mod, with lots of positive reviews on Nexus Mods.

To use the mod, you need the core Mjolnir – Marvel Avengers – Nomad mod.

Butter Stabs

Feed your inner psychopath by stabbing your enemies, smooth as butter. The Butter Stabs mod was uploaded to Nexus Mods by DoggoBAS.

The following reasons are a few why it is one of the best Blade and Sorcery: Nomad mods:

  • Pierceable everything: The mod lets you pierce through everything, including flesh, leather, chainmail, fabric, metal, stone, wood, glass, dirt, plate, and sand.
  • Smoother stabbing: As the name says, stabbing in Blade and Sorcery: Nomad goes smooth as butter with Butter Stabs. Check out the video to get a glimpse. With smooth stabbing, you don’t have to put as much effort into pulling and pushing the sword in and out of the targets.
  • Easier dismemberment: Beheadings and slicing off enemies’ limbs don’t get any easier than with the Butter Stabs mod.

Tactical Weapon Pack

tactical weapon pack mod

The Tactical Weapon Pack mod is the best mod for additional tactical weapons in Blade and Sorcery: Nomad.

Uploaded to Nexus Mods by MrInsane27, this mod offers nine tactical weapons to take your armory to the next level. You can use any of these weapons to take on your enemies.

Hack someone’s face with an ax or slitting a throat with a Karambit knife. With the Tactical Weapon Pack mod, be the marauding warrior you’ve always wanted to be!

The following are the weapons included in the mod:

  • Hammer ax
  • Karambit knife
  • Katana (with sheath)
  • Kukri
  • Machete
  • Sickle
  • Shield
  • Spear
  • Tomahawk

You can install the You Are The Flash mod on your Blade and Sorcery: Nomad to punch people hard while you are cruising through the air.

You Are The Flash allows you to boost your speed and strength and it also enables a strong lightning spell.

You can run at blazingly fast speeds while in slo-mo and supersonic punch your enemies, leaving them baffled.

The following are some of the features included in the You Are The Flash mod:

  • Supersonic punch: Multiply the punch force and damage
  • Speed force shock (Lightning) spell: Use lesser mana, appear cooler, and get by stronger by 2.5 times

Bandit Hideout Nomad

bandit hideout nomad mod

With the Bandit Hideout Nomad mod, you can add a big castle map to Blade and Sorcery: Nomad. The map includes a castle with a giant zipline where you can have some fun. The map is large but Nomad runs pretty decently even with large maps.

Guarded by knights who will stop you from entering and making inroads, the castle is set in a cool medieval setting. The map has an excellent ambiance, and stabbing and decapitating the knights takes it to another level.

The map features a tall tower to climb with amazing graspable structures and corners which still require a skill Nomader to scale.

The mod was uploaded to Nexus Mods by YeetGun.

Mumyou Katana with Sheath

mumyou katana with sheath

Mumyou Katana with Sheath is essentially a Samurai sword and sheath in the game. It is ideal for Battoujutsu, a form of traditional Japanese swordsmanship.

The Mumyou Katana weapon can be found in the normal weapon book. Simply select the weapon without a sheath or select a Battoujutsu with the sheath. Once you select the sword, it will appear right in front.

Unsheath the weapon as you normally would from the top. To resheath the sword, bring it back to the actual point of the sheath. The best part about the Battoujutsu sword is that you can also use the sheath as a weapon.

You block the enemies with the sword and stab them with the sheath when they least expect it. Among all the katanas, this is undoubtedly one of my favorites.

The features of the sword are as follows:

  • Lightweight
  • Thin blade
  • Stand-alone weapon
  • Super sharp
  • High accuracy on instant attacks
  • Nuki Uchi technique while wearing the sword at the waist (style 90 degrees with wrist angle up)
  • Implemented Mineuchi

Silent Slowmo

silent slowmo mod

Have you noticed the annoying slow motion sound in Blade and Sorcery: Nomad?

When you press the slow-mo button, you hear an annoying sound that just can’t get out of your head. Slow-mo looks much better with Silent Slowmo installed on Blade and Sorcery: Nomad.

How to Install the Silent Slowmo Mod on Blade and Sorcery: Nomad

Cane Sword

cane sword mod

A Cane Sword is an ornamental weapon that allows you to behead people in a classy way! The sword comes with a sheath and looks super cool. You can get your hands on the sword by going to the Exotic category of the spawner book.

Once you spawn the Cane Sword, you can disguise yourself as an old man. It is, after all, a CANE SWORD. At first glance, the sword doesn’t appear to be a weapon. Deceive your enemies into thinking you are non-violent!

There are a few points to keep in mind. Remember that you can’t grab the sword from the top or you will unsheathe the weapon. Another point to note is that a sheathed sword disables the Pommels physics of the sword. And finally, you can’t remove the sheath from the body unless, and until, you have the cane sword sheathed.

Note that, the Pommels physics of the sword is disabled when the sword is sheathed. Also, you can’t remove the sheath from the body until you have the cane sword sheathed.

How to Install the Cane Sword Mod on Blade and Sorcery: Nomad

To install the Cane Sword mod on Blade and Sorcery: Nomad, go to PC\Quest 2\Internal shared storage\Android\data\com.Warpfrog.BladeAndSorcery\files\Mods.

Next, simply drop the newly imported folder into the “Mods” folder.

Visit the official page on Nexus Mods for full information about the mod.

Intangibility Spell

intangibility spell

Are you sick of people trying to swing and hit at you obnoxiously? With Intangibility Spell, you can destroy your enemies by doing nothing, literally. When enabled, the Intangibility Spell mod makes you untouchable or phasable. Enemy sword attacks will not harm you, despite the cuts through your body.

Simply open the spell wheel and cast the Intangibility Spell. You won’t see any visual effect by casting the spell. Hold the spell and wait for people to attack you.

Another great way to use this mod is to phase through the enemies with just your hand and thrash them left and right. Also, try piercing through a rock, grab someone with your hand, and smash them onto the hard rock.

Play around with other effects and spells. Switch between tangibility and intangibility modes to mess with your enemies’ minds.

How to Install the Intangibility Spell Mod on Blade and Sorcery: Nomad?

Deadly Weapon Pack

deadly weapon pack

The Deadly Weapon Pack mod for Blade and Sorcery: Nomad, in combination with the Tactical Weapon Pack, is a nightmare for your enemies in the game.

The mod adds 10 of the most lethal weapons to your armory. Get your hands on weapons like the scissor bladed Zulfiqar and the large two-handed Zweihander sword.

The following is a list of the 10 weapons included in the mod:

  • Deadly Katana
  • Fangtian Ji (spear made of stainless steel head)
  • Gladius Sword & Sheath (short Roman origin blade for close combat)

  • Jump infinitely high
  • Super fast movement through the air when flying
